JÁVEA’S ATTRACTIONS FOR BUYING LUXURY VILLAS
Although Jávea shines with its own light for the quality and condition of its beaches, it is also important to be surrounded by other places of interest that make it one of the preferred destinations to go on holiday or buy a luxury villa in Jávea.
Both Spaniards and foreigners are attracted by the great quality of life that can be achieved in Jávea. A series of factors come together to guarantee day-to-day comfort. From the Mediterranean climate, which favours outdoor activities, to the different sports that can be practised, luxury villas in Jávea are an excellent investment opportunity.
But to find out more about all there is to do in and around Jávea, this article looks at some of the highlights and how you can integrate them into your plans to enhance your experience.
Proximity to golf courses
The Costa Blanca’s characteristic good weather allows you to enjoy golf to the full, a sport that is not only entertaining and accessible for all ages, but also favours being outdoors in the middle of nature. The wide variety of golf courses available means that golf can be enjoyed by all golf enthusiasts, regardless of their level of knowledge.
The Region of Valencia has some courses that have nothing to envy to those in the rest of Spain. Our favourite is La Sella Golf, located on the slopes of Montgó, just 10 minutes from Jávea. You can play the full 18-hole course, designed by the legend José María Olazabal.
Another recommended place is in Cofrentes, next to the Hotel Balneario. Make the most of it for a relaxing getaway in unbeatable surroundings. A smaller course (9-hole pitch & putt), suitable for beginners, will complement your disconnection and help you forget the noise of everyday life.
Water sports and sailing
Of course, we can’t leave out the possibility of practising water sports in the Mediterranean Sea. The perfect place for kayaking, scuba diving, water skiing, paddle surfing… Whatever you can think of, it has a perfect setting, clear and calm waters that favour any practice.
We often meet visitors who want to make the most of their stay in Jávea, and we always propose the possibility of admiring the Costa Blanca from a different point of view. You should be as physically active as possible if you want to maintain good health and quality of life, but it is clear that in this environment it is much more motivating.
There is a wide range of water sports to practice in Jávea, so the best thing to do is to go to the beach and decide how you want to have fun in a healthy way and connect with nature.
Surrounded by gourmet places
As if all this wasn’t enough, you also have the chance to put the icing on the cake by going to places that specialise in local food and gastronomy. The Mediterranean diet needs no introduction, but we must highlight the high quality of the local food that can be tasted in Jávea and the surrounding area. Find out all about Gourmet on the Costa Blanca.
Many visitors come to the area because of the wide range of gastronomic offer and the setting in which the best restaurants are located. Sometimes we forget the importance of taking care of the farmers, producers and small traders of the Valencian market garden or the fishermen who bring the best fish from the sea.
Cala Bandida, Embruix, Tula or La Perla de Jávea are some of the most recognisable names among the restaurants that succeed here. Each one has its own style so we can’t recommend just one, we recommend them all! In fact, it’s not just good food in restaurants, there are also bars serving delicious food and gourmet shops with local produce for you to enjoy at home.
Proximity to horse riding and riding lessons
As with golf, horse riding allows you to merge with nature from a different perspective than usual. Horse riding has a long tradition in the Region of Valencia, which is why there are different options depending on your location and preferences.
Without leaving Jávea you will find the Montgó Vall Equestrian Center. An approved equestrian centre where you can go for rides or take dressage and jumping classes. They also have a Pony-Club so that the little ones can also enjoy themselves without risk. If you want to take it seriously, there is also everything you need to enter the fascinating world of equestrian competitions.
If you want a change of scenery but without going too far, there are also the options of the Centro Hípico Lledó (12 km) or the Club Hípico Benissa (19 km) which combine tradition and adaptation to modern times to develop all kinds of activities associated with horses.
