If you want to spend an unforgettable summer, you have to come to J\u00e1vea.<\/p>\n

It is a place recommended for those who want to relax and disconnect from the noise of the city, but at the same time it also offers the possibility of experiencing strong emotions through adventure sports in a simply spectacular environment.<\/p>\n

Visiting the beaches and coves of J\u00e1vea<\/h2>\n

As in other enclaves on the Costa Blanca, the beaches and coves of J\u00e1vea are one of the hallmarks of this town. You can choose from different activities, all of them enhanced by the incomparable setting of the Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n

Many visitors are looking for peace and quiet and to disconnect from stress and routine. Here you have all the ingredients to achieve this, as it is a highly recommended destination for both foreign and local tourists.<\/p>\n

Good weather is guaranteed and you can enjoy many hours of sunshine. The quality of the beaches is unquestionable, and they are in perfect condition.<\/p>\n

Cala Blanca<\/a>, Cala en Cal\u00f3<\/a> or Cala Secreta, Cala de la Barraca or Cala Tang\u00f3 are some of the names of this small treasure of the Mediterranean coast. Each one has its own singularities, so we recommend that you visit them all.<\/p>\n

\"Javea<\/p>\n

Enjoy the scenery of the Nao Lighthouse<\/h2>\n

In addition to the beaches and coves, J\u00e1vea has several points of great interest, such as the area around the Faro de la Nao lighthouse. The fusion between sea and coast is produced in a very organic way in this area, and you can walk through different places where you can connect with nature.<\/p>\n

There are different paths to follow and enjoy a jewel less known to tourists but with the same charm. We know that the province of Alicante is mainly admired for its beaches, but these places also have great beauty.<\/p>\n

Located in the Marina Alta, it is a perfect spot to make out the island of Ibiza on clear days or sunsets that will remain engraved on your retina forever. In addition, you can walk from the lighthouse to the Creu del Portitxol (just over 4 kms) and contemplate the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea from a different perspective.<\/p>\n

Follow the route of the viewpoints of J\u00e1vea<\/h2>\n

Although the name may be misleading, as it is not recommended to visit all the viewpoints in one go, there are a series of points along the coastline of J\u00e1vea that are worth highlighting.<\/p>\n

From some points that we have mentioned in this article or in others, such as the Cap de Sant Antoni, the Creu del Portitxol or the Granadella Castle, to more hidden and less crowded places from which you can get a panoramic view that will make you reconnect with nature.<\/p>\n

    Strolling and discovering the old town of J\u00e1vea<\/h2>\n

    As if all these natural landscapes were not enough, you will still find interesting places when strolling through the old town of J\u00e1vea. A town with a seafaring tradition but which has also been able to adapt to the times and offer everything necessary for modern life.<\/p>\n

    The fortified church of San Bartolom\u00e9 is one of the must-see sights. In Elizabethan Gothic style, it was built between the 14th and 16th centuries, with different remodelling over the years.<\/p>\n

    From monuments with a lot of history to private houses with a spectacular design. All this can be found in the centre of X\u00e0bia, which is sure to surprise more than one person because it does not always appear in the tourist guides. Also interesting are the Casa-Palacio de Antonio Banyuls or the Mercado de Abastos.<\/p>\n

    Visiting the Mills of J\u00e1vea<\/h2>\n

    These centuries-old constructions represent the oldest character of the area. Buildings with a very specific mission at the time, but which now help us to realise how much J\u00e1vea and the world in general have changed.<\/p>\n

    They are in a relatively good state of conservation for the years of history they have. What we can’t see are the blades that used to turn with the wind to grind the wheat. Today, modern windmills have become part of the landscape of our country, so it is useful to understand where we come from and where we are going.<\/p>\n

    It is planned that they will be restored to bring a little piece of the traditions that have been lost over time, but which are part of the essence of our society, to the people of Ja\u00e9n and all visitors.<\/p>\n
